Camu Camu

The Camu camu plant is native in South America and grows to be a bush of up to 3 m high. The small red fruits of this plant are picked and freeze-dried to produce natural fruit powder from them.

The fruit of the Camu camu plant has rightfully been one of the most important ingredients of the indigenous population’s medicine for centuries.

For example, this fruit contains 40 times as much natural vitamin C as oranges and other citrus fruits! What’s more it also has amazingly high levels of iron and of other valuable plant nutrients, minerals and amino acids.
